Attracting, retaining and delighting clients are fundamental aspects of Nedbank Group’s sustainable business success. Client service is a key strategic focus area – as is expanding our client base, particularly into previously unbanked communities. To achieve its client service and growth objectives, the group’s wide range of wholesale and retail banking products and services is offered through three main business clusters in the form of Nedbank Retail, Nedbank Corporate and Nedbank Capital. During 2008 these three business divisions cooperated closely via numerous cross-sell initiatives to ensure that the bank continues to provide a comprehensive portfolio of services to its diverse client base. This section of the report outlines the activities of each of these divisions in greater detail.
